Job Overview
Our client is looking for a motivated and energetic Junior Sales Executive to support business development and client acquisition activities. This role is ideal for candidates with 6 months to 1 year of sales experience who are interested in building a career in enterprise software and technology solutions sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential clients to generate new business opportunities
- Promote ERP, HRM, CRM, and other technology solutions to corporate clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
- Coordinate client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations
- Follow up on leads, proposals, and ongoing sales discussions
- Work closely with internal teams to support solution presentations and project discussions
- Maintain accurate sales records and update CRM systems regularly
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles
- Diploma or part qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field will be an added advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and Sinhala
- Good presentation and negotiation skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Office applications and email communication
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and willing to learn
- Ability to travel for client meetings within Colombo and nearby areas
- Preferred Skills
- Interest in ERP, HRM, CRM, or enterprise software solutions
- Strong relationship-building and customer handling skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
