Job Overview

Our clients, recognized as premier real estate developers, are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic professional for a Manager Grade position. The role involves leading and managing MEP works for high-rise building projects to ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Coordination: Participating in project design development, reviewing MEP drawings for discrepancies, and coordinating with design consultants.
  • Site Supervision: Monitoring all MEP activities for compliance with approved drawings and method statements.
  • Quality Control: Conducting regular site inspections, maintaining quality records, and identifying non-conformances (NCRs) to ensure corrective actions.
  • Technical Management: Coordinating with consultants and contractors to resolve technical issues and ensuring the timely issuance of technical documentation.
  • Commissioning & Handover: Coordinating the testing and commissioning of MEP systems and ensuring all defects are rectified before project completion.
  • Compliance & Safety: Negotiating change orders and ensuring adherence to building codes, as well as health and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Education: A BSc Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. 
  •  MSc in Building Services Engineering is an added advantage.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10+ years of experience in MEP works specifically related to mid or high-rise building construction.
  • Professional Status: Chartered qualification is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office is required , while knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in managing multi-site QA/QC teams.
