Lead QA Automation Engineer

We are looking to hire a "Lead QA Automation Engineer" for one of our clients.

Requirements.

• Degree/Diploma related to IT/Software Engineering
• Minimum 06-years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Experience with Automated Testing: Should have experience creating and maintaining automated test scripts for web applications.
• Should be knowledgeable about best practices in test automation and have experience in implementing automation strategies in a software development lifecycle.
• Strong Technical Skills: Solid understanding of programming languages, scripting, automation frameworks, and test automation tools.
• Experience working with various automation tools like Selenium/Cypress/Playwright, Appium, Jenkins, and JIRA, among others.
• Communication Skills: Should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Should be able to communicate technical information effectively to stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge.
• Team Management Skills: Should have experience leading and managing a team of QA automation engineers.
• Experience in training, and mentoring team members to develop their skills and enhance their performance.
• Analytical Skills: Should have strong analytical skills to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide effective solutions. Should have experience in using different debugging tools and techniques to identify the root cause of problems.
• Agile Methodology: Should have experience working in an agile software development environment and be familiar with agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
• Continuous Learning: should be committed to continuous learning to stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the software development industry.

Responsibilities:

• Review requirement specifications, understand the requirements, and provide meaningful and timely feedback
• Create well-structured and comprehensive test cases
• Prepare test plans
• Provide test estimations
• Prioritize and perform quality testing activities
• Report issues and prepare bug reports.
• Maintain test environments
• Perform the following test types with alignment to the requirement.

  • Functional Testing
  • Regression Testing
  • UI Testing
  • Browser/OS Compatibility Testing
  • Integration Testing
  • Accessibility Testing
  • Test Automation
  • Performance Testing
  • API Testing
  • Load Testing
