We are looking to hire a "Backend-AI Engineer Intern / Fullstack Engineer Intern" for one of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and contribute to the design process.
  • Develop backend components and APIs to support the functionality of software applications.
  • Implement algorithms and AI models as required for specific features or enhancements.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Conduct thorough testing of developed features to ensure reliability, performance, and security.
  • Work closely with DevOps team to facilitate deployment processes and ensure scalability and reliability of services.
  • Collaborate with Frontend team to integrate backend functionalities seamlessly into user interfaces.
  • Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback on code quality and improvements.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies, tools, and trends in backend development and AI to continuously improve skills and contribute innovative solutions.
  • Document code, processes, and system architecture to ensure clear understanding and maintainability for future reference.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to share progress, discuss challenges, and coordinate efforts for successful project delivery.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues encountered during development or deployment phases.

Qualifications:

  • Strong programming skills in Python language
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and server-side languages
  • Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with databases, relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL), NoSQL (MongoDB), data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake)
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science
  • Familiarity in the emerging field of large language models in AI and/or data analytics would be considered an advantage for this role
  • Open source contributions are considered a huge plus
