Assistant Accountant

We are looking to hire an Assistant Accountant for one of our client companies. 

Candidate Profile

• Below 30 years of age
• Part qualified in CA, CIMA or ACCA
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar capacity
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a reputed audit firm (Compulsory)
• Experience in using Accounting Software
• MS Office and Computer literacy essential
• Excellent communication skills
• Willing to work long hours/ability to work under pressure are highly considered.
• Fair knowledge of business management/ marketing will be a definite advantage
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with a multi-tasking ability
• Priority will be given to those who can join immediately

Job Profile

• Oversee the overall finance function of the company.
• Responsible for timely completion of monthly accounts and other ad-hoc reports
• Preparation of budgets, cash flow forecast, and Working capital management.
• Review internal controls and implement new procedures when required.
• Involve in product costing, pricing, and oversea inventory control procedure.
• Ensure the receipts & payments are done in a timely and secure manner
• Ensure to complete the financial entries and reporting in a timely manner
• Reviewing new Tax updates and presenting to Management
• Filling of all types of Tax returns & Schedules monthly, quarterly, and annually through RAMIS
• Handing & controlling VAT/SVAT
• Dealing with officers from IRD Regarding assessments and other notices issued by the Department of inland revenue
• Working to get the Tax clearance Documents from IRD for various Tax requirements
• Complying with legislation, ensure all taxes, payments, and renewals are done
• Liaising with external parties such as Banks, Auditors, Company Secretory, lawyers, etc.
• Knowledge of legal documents
• Managing day-to-day administrative tasks
