Technician (Motor Cycle)

About the Job: 

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Motor Cycle Mechanic Technician to join our client. The technician will be responsible for assembling, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electric two-wheelers (e-bikes) to ensure optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities: 

• Assemble, install, repair, and deploy battery swapping stations to ensure seamless operations.
• Assist the operations team in identifying potential locations for new battery swapping stations.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Sling E-bikes to ensure reliability and performance.
• Inspect and certify bikes for operational readiness after repairs or maintenance.
• Conduct ad hoc test rides as per technical team instructions to assess performance and functionality.
• Ensure all E-bikes are operationally able to function and ready for clients before deployment.

Qualifications: 

• Proven experience in bicycle, motorcycle, or electric vehicle repairs (e-bike experience preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided).
• Strong understanding of basic electrical systems (wiring, battery connections, motor operations).
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems such as brakes, suspensions, and drivetrains.
• NVQ Level 3 or above in Automobile/Mechanical/Electrical fields (or equivalent qualification).
• Prior experience working with electric bikes, motorcycles, or scooters is a strong advantage.
• A valid two-wheeler riding license is mandatory.
