About the Client:
A leading organization in the marketing and event management space, known for delivering innovative brand experiences that connect people and businesses. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and documentation in an organized and timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of invoices, billing statements, and payment processing activities.
- Support month-end closing procedures, journal entries, and financial reporting tasks.
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve finance-related queries and ensure smooth financial operations.
- Assist in audit preparations and provide necessary documentation to external and internal auditors.
- Contribute to improving accounting processes and supporting the finance team in achieving departmental goals.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting, finance, or a related function.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Successfully completed G.C.E. Advanced Level in the Commerce stream.
- Completed or currently following AAT / CAT / HNDA / NVQ Level 56 (Accounting or Finance) or any other recognized accounting qualification.
