Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and dedicated professional to join our client's team as a Procurement Executive. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling procurement operations, coordinating with suppliers, ensuring timely purchasing of materials and services, maintaining cost efficiency, and supporting smooth operational processes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end sourcing for assigned categories: build RFQs/RFPs, analyse quotes, negotiate commercial terms, and execute POS in line with company policy/LOA.
- Drive cost-saving and value-engineering initiatives and present outcomes to management.
- Manage supplier performance (OTIF, quality, cost, responsiveness); maintain scorecards and lead corrective action reviews.
- Ensure accurate and timely transactions in SAP (MM); maintain master data integrity and proper documentation for audit readiness.
- Build Power BI/Excel dashboards to monitor spend, pricing trends, inventory exposure, and procurement KPIs; translate insights into actions.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Finance, and Stores to align demand plans, deliveries, and invoice/payment cycles.
- Uphold compliance, ethics, and sustainability standards across the supplier base.
- Sound knowledge in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years' hands-on experience in procurement/purchasing/supply chain, ideally in manufacturing.
- Proven negotiation and analytical capability with strong commercial acumen.
- Proficiency in SAP (MM) and Power Bl/advanced Excel; experience building reports/ dashboards is a distinct advantage.
- Excellent presentation and stakeholder-management skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Professional qualifications (e.g., CIPS/CIMA/ISMM) will be an added advantage.
