Solution Architecture

• Ability to design end-to-end ERP solutions (Business Central + integrations)

• Define data flows, system boundaries, and source of truth

• Make trade-offs between real-time vs batch, scalability vs cost

Integration Expertise

• Strong experience with APIs, EDI (X12/EDIFACT), and file-based integrations

• Ability to design robust integration patterns (retry, monitoring, error handling)

• Experience integrating with eCommerce (e.g., Shopify) and 3PLs

Data & Process Engineering

• Deep understanding of inventory, order management, and financial flows

• Ability to structure data models (SKUs, customers, pricing, tax)

• Experience resolving data inconsistencies and defining governance

Hands-on Delivery

• Comfortable going from design to execution (not just high-level)

• Ability to troubleshoot issues directly in the system

• Experience configuring Business Central and supporting implementations

Autonomy & Ownership

• Able to lead discussions, challenge assumptions, and make decisions

• Minimal dependency on others for direction

• Strong accountability for outcomes, not just tasks

Stakeholder Communication

• Ability to translate complex topics into simple explanations

• Guide non-technical users through decisions and trade-offs

• Drive structured discovery and alignment sessions
