About the Role
As a Mid-Senior Full-Stack Engineer, youll join a team dedicated to building digital tools that power real-world connections. What Youll Do
- Implement new features and enhancements across our React + Django platform.
- Build and maintain REST APIs, web interfaces, and data models that power community-based applications.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and other team processes that ensure quality and maintainability.
- Assist in troubleshooting and fixing bugs helping reduce technical debt and ensuring system reliability (~20% of your time).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and shape effective solutions.
- Continuously learn new tools and frameworks and share your insights with the team.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of professional experience building and maintaining full-stack web applications.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, React, and a backend framework like Django, Flask, or Node.js.
- Working knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL.
- A strong understanding of web application architecture, REST APIs, and best practices in deployment and testing.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to balance speed with quality.
- A collaborative and proactive communication styleyoure comfortable working in agile teams and talking with non-engineers.
Nice to Have
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and modern DevOps practices.
Familiarity with open-source ecosystems or previous contributions to shared libraries.
