Job Summary

This is a full-time salaried position that performs key critical processes essential to the Company including, but not limited to, bookkeeping, HR onboarding new employees/VAs, onboarding new clients, running payroll, purchasing. This company provides Virtual Assistants to the United States; therefore, work hours will be 8:00 to 5:00 central time U.S.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Support staff for accounting (future)

Support staff for HR/Payroll (future)

Admin Assistant (future)

Compensation

$10 - $15/hr                                                                                                                                Health insurance stipend                                                                                                           Paid time off

Duties/Responsibilities

Perform administrative duties including, but not limited to HR/Payroll or Recruiting

Posting jobs on on-line job sites and to social media platforms

Review and screen applications

Perform initial phone call interview

Pass qualified applicants to hiring manager

Onboarding

Onboarding new employees

Onboarding new VAs

Create employee & VA folders in online storage systems

Employee & VA access to mail, LMS

Enroll employees & VAs in payroll systems (Gusto, Hubstaff, Wise)

File employee documents in employee folders

Payroll

Run payroll for staff

Run payroll for VAs

Accounting

Standard bookkeeping functions to post financial transactions in QuickBooks

online.

Upload transactions to QuickBooks Online

Reconcile credit card transactions

Reconcile bank accounts

Create financial statements from QuickBooks to present to CEO & Owners

Purchasing

Purchase products and services as requested

Insurance

Research insurance rates from various carriers

Make recommendations to CEO & Mira Board

Requires Skills

Proven leadership skills

Strong written and verbal communications skills

Very detail oriented

Can work on one task for a longer period of time

Strong analytical mind and problem solver

Able to research and find solutions with minimal or no supervision

Learns very quickly

Very strong desktop tools skills (MicroSoft office, Google Suite (docs, sheets, etc.)

Education and Experience

College degree in accounting or HR or payroll

1-3 years of bookkeeping experience preferred

1-3 years of payroll operations experience preferred

Physical Requirements

Good general health

Good eyesight and hearing

Systems and Other Requirements

Two (2) Computer Processors having at least i5 processor, 8 GB RAM, and Windows 10 or better operating system

Have 2 monitors for a desktop computer or one monitor to work in conjunction with a laptop.

Has two (2) forms of internet. Backup internet can be a hot spot on the cell phone or has a backup location. Primary internet must provide at least   10 Mbps on wired plan (computer is wired directly to the router).
