Job Summary

The CEO reports directly to the Mira Owners (aka Mira Board of Directors) and is responsible for the overall daily operations of the company including administrative, marketing, and operations/services; and developing high quality business strategies and plans that align with the company's short-term and long-term objectives.

As CEO, this person must have strong leadership skills and the ability to identify current and future problems and opportunities.

The CEO must be very strong in strategic planning, critical thinking, and problem solving.

As the company's top leader, they must have strong leadership skills that solicits team input and participation in the decision making process.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Reviews and recommends candidates to the Mira Board to fill Executive Level direct report positions.
  • Supervises Executive Level direct reports
  • Responsible for the professional growth and development of Executive level direct reports.
  • Terminates Executive Level direct reports

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Ensures that the entire organization is focused on the company's mission, vision, short-term and long-term goals.
  • Build and foster an environment for the company culture to flourish.
  • Ensures all company policies are followed.
  • Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission
  • Develop high quality business strategies and plans that align with the company's short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Make high-quality investing decisions to advance the business and increase profits
  • Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company's legality and business ethics
  • Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements
  • Build trust relations with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important shareholders
  • Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth
    • Interacts with local press. Approves all public relations and news releases.
    • Markets the company via networking, appearing on public radio, TV, podcasts, vlogs, social media posts.
    • Is on a person plan for continual professional growth and development.

    Requires Skills

    • Very good written and verbal communications skills
    • Must be the Ideal Team Player (humble, hungry, people smart)
    • Very strong desktop tools skills (Microsoft office, Google Suite (docs, sheets, etc.)

    Education and Experience

    • College degree
    • 3 years experience as an upper level corporate executive

    Physical Requirements

    • Good general health
