Field Collections & Recovery Team Leader

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for skilled Field Collections & Recovery Team Leaders to join our team. You will be responsible for managing recovery and collection activities, leading field recovery agents, coordinating external collection agencies, and ensuring all activities comply with regulatory requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manage an in-house team of Field Recovery Agents to ensure collection targets are met and all activities comply with regulatory requirements.
• Take on additional tasks or participate in field visits as and when required.
• Oversee recovery and collection activities for accounts from DPD 180 up to write-off, with the aim of minimizing the bad debt portfolio.
• Coordinate and manage a panel of external collection agencies by allocating accounts and ensuring performance targets are achieved.
• Work out non-performing loans/assets through debt restructuring and settlement negotiations with borrowers.
• Monitor and manage the performance of external collection agencies to meet recovery targets.
• Liaise with panel lawyers to determine the best course of action and pursue legal actions when necessary.
• Ensure all internal and external collection policies are strictly followed.
  Demonstrate a good understanding and familiarity with legal documentation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Recovery or Field Collection Team Leader.
• Experience managing consumer collections.
• Strong ability to manage team members, including coaching and conducting meetings.
• Experience in Banking, Telecommunications, or E-commerce debt collection.
  Diploma or Degree holder.
• Good knowledge of collections regulations and the Fair Debt Collection Act.
