Job Summary:

To provide comprehensive Well Logs Data Management and Petrophysics Interpretation services to support exploration and production activities.

Scope of Work:

The ideal candidate is a mid-to-senior level Petrophysicist with a strong background in well data management and formation evaluation. Key responsibilities are listed below:

Well Data Management:

Compilation of final log curves including GR, Caliper, Resistivity, Sonic (DT), and Density logs.

Quality control of log curves, bad-hole correction, and generation of pseudo logs where necessary (e.g., GR, DT, Density).

Inventory management and validation of core data, including RCA, SCAL, XRD, LPSA, Sw, and Grain Analysis.

Compilation and verification of fluid data, pressure data, and well testing results.

Data tabulation and documentation, providing remarks for each compiled final log curve per well.

Petrophysical Formation Evaluation:

Conducting formation evaluation using Gamma Ray (GR), Neutron-Density (Neu-Den), and Hydrocarbon Correction (HC Corr) plots for lithology modeling and hydrocarbon contact identification.

Utilization of Neutron, Density, Sonic, and Hydrocarbon Correction (HC Corr) methodologies.

Analysis of core data, including Vcl, Gden, RI, FF, Porosity-Permeability (Poro-Perm), and SwJ.

Calculation of water saturation (Sw) and porosity for reservoir characterization.

Reservoir summation and integration of petrophysical parameters.

Preparation of comprehensive petrophysical reports, including compiled tabulation and interpretation.

Job Skill Requirements:

Proficiency in DSG Petrophysics or other relevant petrophysical software tools.

Strong knowledge of petrophysical modeling, well log interpretation, and formation evaluation.

Experience in core data analysis and fluid pressure interpretation.

Proficiency in database management, data compilation, and report writing.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Petrophysics, Geology, Petroleum Engineering,

or a related field.

5 - 8 years of experience in petrophysical evaluation, well log data management,and reservoir characterization, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.

Experience working with major Oil & Gas companies is an added advantage.
