We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Alarm Technicians to join our Boyton Beach, FL Teams. The ideal candidates will demonstrate a deep understanding of fire alarm systems, a strong commitment to safety, and a history of excellence in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of fire alarm systems for our clients. Applicants should possess their level I, II, or III NICET certification, along with prior experience. Familiarity with NFPA standards, including NFPA 70 and 72, is also required.
Responsibilities:
Install and maintain alarm systems in residential and commercial buildings
Conduct site surveys to determine the best locations for alarm system components
Program and configure alarm systems to meet customer specifications
Test and troubleshoot alarm systems to ensure proper functionality
Provide training to customers on how to use and operate their alarm systems
Respond to service calls and perform repairs or replacements as needed
Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure timely completion of installations
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in fire alarm system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Applicants should possess their level I, II, or III
NICET certification
Knowledge of NFPA standards a plus (including 70 and 72)
Proficient in programming and configuring various fire alarm system brands and models. Familiarity with low-voltage electrical systems is a plus.
Experience with commercial and residential systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Troubleshooting skills
Ability to work on ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
High school diploma or GED certificate
Open to commuting
open to on call rotations

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 50 per week
