Mission
To own and accelerate the company's digital revenue growth by developing and executing a holistic digital strategy that seamlessly integrates performance marketing, brand building, and e-commerce operations. This leadership role is responsible for driving customer acquisition, conversion, and lifetime value across all digital touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and execute the overarching digital commerce and marketing strategy to achieve aggressive revenue and profitability targets
- Own the P&L for the digital commerce channel, managing budgets, forecasting, and reporting on performance
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team encompassing digital marketing, e-commerce operations, and analytics
- Foster a culture of testing, data-driven decision-making, and continuous optimization.
2. E-Commerce Management:
- Own the end-to-end customer journey on brand.com, optimizing for usability, conversion rate (CVR), and average order value (AOV).
- Manage the digital product catalog, pricing promotions, and merchandising strategies.
- Oversite of key technical partnerships (e.g., e-commerce platform, payment processors, CRM tools).
- Ensure a seamless omnichannel experience, aligning online and in-store strategies where applicable.
3. Performance Marketing & Growth:
- Develop and manage the integrated digital marketing plan across paid channels (Paid Social, SEM, Programmatic, Affiliate) and owned channels (Email, SMS, SEO).
- Drive customer acquisition and retention programs, optimizing spend to maximize return on ad spend (ROAS) and customer lifetime value (LTV).
- Implement advanced CRM and lifecycle marketing strategies to nurture leads and foster loyalty.
4. Data, Analytics & Technology:
- Establish a robust framework for measuring, analyzing, and reporting on digital KPIs.
- Utilize web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to derive insights and inform strategy.
- Lead the adoption and integration of new MarTech tools to enhance marketing automation, personalization, and efficiency.
5. Brand Stewardship:
- Ensure all digital consumer touchpoints consistently reflect the brand's voice, values, and aesthetic.
- Partner with the creative team to develop compelling digital assets that drive engagement and conversion.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing and e-commerce, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing teams and multi-million dollar budgets.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Deep expertise with e-commerce platforms
- Mastery of digital advertising platforms
- Strong analytical skills with experience in Google Analytics, Data Studio, and CRM systems
- Understanding of SEO principles and web technologies.
- Proven Track Record: A documented history of:
- Driving significant digital revenue growth and profit.
- Optimizing funnels and improving key metrics like CVR, AOV, and ROAS.
- Building and scaling successful performance marketing programs.
- Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
