Intern - Cloud Technology

Job Description

• Assist engineering teams with cloud infrastructure deployment and configuration activities.
• Support the monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of cloud environments.
• Participate in project implementation activities under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Assist in preparing technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and implementation reports.
• Support pre-sales activities, including solution research, Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation, and demo environment setup.
• Perform basic cloud administration tasks on platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Huawei Cloud.
• Assist with backup, patch management, security, and compliance-related operational activities.
• Support customer issue analysis and ticket resolution under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Learn and adhere to cloud architecture, operational, and security best practices.
• Continuously develop technical knowledge and skills through internal training programs and professional certifications.

Person Specification

• Be currently pursuing or have recently completed a Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Network Engineering, Cloud Computing, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Possess basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Huawei Cloud.
• Demonstrate an understanding of virtual machines, networking concepts, operating systems (Linux and/or Windows), IP addressing, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and basic cybersecurity concepts.
• Have familiarity with scripting or automation tools such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python, which will be considered an advantage.
• Possess a basic understanding of containerization and virtualization technologies, which will be considered an added advantage.
• Hold fundamental-level cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, which will be considered an advantage.
• Internships, academic projects, laboratory work, or personal cloud projects will be considered an added advantage.
• Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Possess good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Be able to work under guidance in customer-facing environments.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and professional work ethic.
