Job Description

  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users by resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose IT issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals to ensure optimal performance and security
  • Assist with the setup and deployment of new devices, including computers, printers, and mobile devices
  • Manage user accounts and access permissions while ensuring data security and compliance with company policies
  • Respond to IT support tickets and inquiries via various channels such as email, phone, or ticketing systems, and document solutions and resolutions
  • Monitor and maintain IT inventory, including hardware and software licenses, and assist with procurement when required
  • Support end-users with network connectivity and internet-related issues
  • Collaborate with product experts and escalate issues to L2 and L3 support teams when necessary
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support requests, resolutions, and system configurations

Person Specification

  • Possess a Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm or interest in helpdesk or technical support functions
  • Have experience working with Windows operating systems and other operating systems
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Hold certifications in Networking, Security, or Microsoft technologies, which will be considered an advantage
