Engineer - Data Engineering & Analytics

Job Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design data solutions accordingly
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes
• Implement data quality checks and ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Perform data analysis and identify trends and patterns to support business decision-making
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data pipelines or data quality
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and analytics
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and escalate any issues or concerns

Person Specification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 02+ years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or a related role
• Strong proficiency in SQL, ON-prem /cloud technologies and experience with relational databases
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, lakehouses and ETL processes
• Knowledge about programming languages such as Hadoop, Big data technologies, python or Scala is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
