Engineer - Infrastructure (Servers & Storage)

Job Description

• Provide L2 technical support for servers and storage platforms, escalating complex issues to L3/architect or principals when needed
• Support implementation and operations for technologies including Oracle Linux, Solaris, FS1, ZFS, Solaris Cluster, Infoscale, Scality, HCP/HDI, Hitachi Storage, EMC Storage, Huawei Storage, Brocade, DCS, and Grafana
• Assist with infrastructure deployments, upgrades and patching to maintain system stability and performance
• Work closely with L1 support/interns to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity of service delivery
• Prepare and maintain documentation, runbooks, and configuration standards

Person Specification

• Bachelor's degree in engineering / computer science / information technology / Electronics or equivalent discipline
• Fresh graduates with strong fundamentals in IT infrastructure are encouraged to apply
• Prior exposure to servers, storage systems, Linux/Unix administration, or virtualization will be an advantage
• Professional certifications (e.g., Oracle Solaris, Red Hat RHCSA, VMware VCP, Veritas NetBackup, AWS/Azure/OCI Fundamentals) will be considered an added advantage
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset with eagerness to learn new technologies
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with peers and senior engineers
