Job Description
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key strategic accounts, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to drive long-term partnerships
  • Maintain and grow customer relationships to ensure retention, satisfaction, and recurring business
  • Drive revenue and Gross Profit (GP) targets across assigned key accounts
  • Collaborate with the sales and account management teams to identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them
  • Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, addressing issues or concerns and ensuring timely resolution
  • Manage end-to-end RFP / Tender / Bid submissions, ensuring timely, accurate, and commercially competitive proposals
  • Craft commercially sound and competitive deals aligned with revenue and profitability objectives
  • Own project commercials, including pricing strategy, budgeting, revenue tracking, cost control, and margin management
  • Manage principal relationships to ensure strong vendor alignment, pricing support, and strategic collaboration
  • Oversee distributor management to ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and commercial optimization
  • Monitor and analyze key account performance metrics, including revenue, GP, and pipeline growth, and provide regular reports to senior management
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to identify improvement areas and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments, proactively recommending new solutions or services to meet evolving client needs.
  • Lead and manage a team of account managers, providing guidance, performance oversight, and strategic direction
  • Ensure effective internal stakeholder coordination across sales, technical, finance, and legal teams to support successful account delivery
Person Specification
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, IT, or a related field
  • Minimum of 04 years of experience in account management, with a proven track record of managing and growing key accounts
  • Strong understanding of the technology industry and ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively
  • Proven experience in revenue growth, GP management, and commercial negotiations
  • Experience managing RFPs, tenders, bid submissions, and contract negotiations
  • Exposure to principal and distributor management will be an added advantage
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to own and manage project commercials
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels
  • Proven experience developing and executing successful account management strategies
  • Strong leadership capability with experience managing and motivating teams
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
