Systems Engineer

Job Description

• Database and Middleware support to existing Client SLAs
• Support Senior Engineers to validate data and provide analyzable outputs
• Database and Middleware infrastructure deployment services new installations / pre UAT
• POC and R & D for Database and middleware applications
• Level 2 diagnostics of Database/Middleware implementations Go Live support and Post go live
• Create client environment performance reports to database and middleware clients
• Provide L1, L2 and L3 support for customers on 24x7 basis and maintain records of each of the support tickets
• Work on implementation and migration work as assigned by the team lead
• Provide other functions with support beyond scope of responsibilities in order to achieve common organizational goals
• Undertake any other tasks requested by the Line Manager

Person Specification

• 2-3 years experience supporting database and middleware environment
• Bachelor's degree in the relevant field
• Implementation of database and middleware systems
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix Perl Python Scripting
• Ability to learn and improve technical skill with supervision
• Flexible to work during holidays
• Strong Leadership skills
• Excellent communicator, team player, and a person capable of translating plans into action
