About the job Executive - Talent Development
Job Description
- Identify training needs with business units and line managers, and turn skill gaps into the annual learning calendar
- Own the end-to-end delivery of technical, functional, and soft-skills programmes, from scheduling and nominations to logistics and attendance, so sessions run on time and to standard
- Facilitate selected workshops and help design e-learning and blended programmes using sound learning principles
- Coordinate leadership and high-potential programmes, including mentoring, coaching, and succession initiatives, to build a pipeline for critical roles
- Drive the development and adoption of the company learning management system with internal teams, trainers, and vendors, keeping learning records accurate and audit-ready
- Maintain L&D databases and trackers, monitor training spend against budget, and manage external training providers on proposals, quotations, and delivery
- Measure programme effectiveness through feedback and assessments, and prepare regular reports and dashboards on learning hours, participation, and outcomes
- Promote a continuous learning culture through knowledge-sharing sessions, internal trainers, and digital and AI-enabled learning tools
- Support performance management, career development, and onboarding, including goal setting, development plans, and induction for new joiners
- Keep L&D policies, procedures, and documentation up to date, and support internal and external audits
Person Specification
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A professional qualification in HRM or L&D is an advantage
- 2–3 years of experience in learning and development or a related HR function, preferably in a technology or professional services environment
- Sound understanding of training needs analysis, learning design, and training evaluation
- Experience coordinating multiple training programmes at once, exposure to a learning management system or digital learning platforms is an advantage
- Working knowledge of competency frameworks, performance management, and career development
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills, especially Excel, for tracking data and preparing reports and dashboards
- Confident facilitator and presenter, able to engage employees at all levels
- Clear communicator with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a sense of ownership, able to manage priorities under pressure
