Overview:

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives that drive revenue growth, increase brand awareness, and expand the customer base for the functional food portfolio. You will lead a small team to implement effective sales and marketing strategies and analyze market trends to achieve business objectives.

Job Description:

  • Develop sales strategies to meet sales targets, both in terms of revenue and market penetration.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Plan and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns that align with business objectives.
  • Utilize appropriate marketing tools, including digital platforms, social media, events, and traditional media, to increase product awareness.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends.
  • Analyze competitor activity and industry trends to develop effective strategies and stay ahead in the market.
  • Maintain and enhance the company's brand identity and reputation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Ensure excellent customer service throughout the sales cycle.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations to ensure the team's success.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and projections based on historical data, market trends, and pipeline analysis.
  • Generate regular reports on sales and marketing performance for senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in food science, Food Technology, Biotechnology, or related field. MBA is an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing roles, with a track record of achieving targets and driving growth.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience in overseas expansion is beneficial.
