Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sugar Process Improvement Specialist to drive operational excellence across our sugar, ethanol, and power plant operations. This role focuses on analyzing workflows, implementing innovative solutions, and leveraging advanced technologies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current processes and implement improvement strategies to achieve organizational goals.
  • Identify bottlenecks, develop solutions, and monitor results for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure smooth and effective implementation of process changes.
  • Prepare and present improvement plans to senior management.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing operations.
  • Apply methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to optimize processes.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand challenges and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Oversee implementation of new processes and adjust as needed.
  • Train staff on new technologies, workflows, and best practices.
  • Collect and analyze data to measure process effectiveness.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation on improvements.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Manage multiple improvement projects simultaneously.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Sugar Technology, Engineering, or Science.
  • Extensive experience in large-scale sugar, ethanol, and power plant operations, with hands-on knowledge across the value chain is highly desirable.
  • Proven expertise in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
  • Strong track record in enhancing efficiency, productivity, and performance.
  • Proficient in deploying AI, IoT, and advanced digital technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong proficiency in English.
