Are you an organised and proactive administrator looking for a flexible, part-time role that makes a real difference? VRA Rescue NSW is seeking a detail-oriented Administration Officer to join our People Safety and Culture team in Dubbo. This role offers a chance to use your administrative skills in support of an organisation that protects and serves communities across New South Wales.
About the Role
Working 3 days per week, you will provide essential administrative support that keeps our operations running smoothly and our people supported.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will be varied and rewarding, including:
- Coordinating fleet administration managing e-tolls, fuel cards, vehicle registrations, and insurance documentation
- Arranging travel and accommodation for training, deployments, and official events
- Administering insurance claims, including workplace incidents and fleet or equipment damage
- Supporting volunteer recognition programs through medals and awards coordination
- Delivering general office and administrative support to the People Safety and Culture team
This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same, and your attention to detail will directly contribute to our operational readiness and member wellbeing.

To be successful, you will bring:
Essential requirements:
- Certificate III (or higher) in Business Administration or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence working with digital systems
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Desirable attributes:
- Experience in fleet management or logistics administration
- Background in emergency services, community, or not-for-profit sectors
- Familiarity with recordkeeping or compliance systems
