Job Overview:
Were seeking an experienced Cost Financial Analyst to join a fast-paced finance team supporting a leading manufacturer. In this role, you'll provide detailed cost forecasting, margin analysis, and financial reporting to drive better decisions across operations, R&D, and executive leadership.
This position is ideal for candidates with Big 4 public accounting experience who are looking to transition into an in-house role with better work/life balance and long-term growth potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forecast and analyze manufacturing cost variances and spending
- Prepare detailed gross margin and standard cost reports
- Analyze variance accounts and provide clear insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Automate reconciliations and financial reporting processes in Oracle
- Support revenue and R&D cost forecasting
- Contribute to monthly/quarterly close activities
- Improve existing processes for efficiency and accuracy
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Public accounting (Big 4 preferred)
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling)
- Experience with Oracle or another enterprise ERP system
- Background in manufacturing or semiconductors a plus
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Qualifications:
