Director of Sales Wireless Connectivity SoCs (Eastern US, Northeast-Based)

Position Summary

As the Director of Sales (Eastern US), you will be responsible for leading revenue growth and strategic customer engagement across the Eastern US territory, with a primary focus on Tier 1 and high-potential emerging accounts. This role will oversee both direct account management and channel partner enablement, playing a pivotal role in expanding market share and driving design wins.

We are seeking candidates who must reside in the Northeast US region (NY, NJ, MA, PA, CT, etc.) and are prepared to take ownership of a high-impact sales leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own revenue and design win targets across key accounts in the Eastern US, ensuring pipeline growth and market penetration.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for both existing and new customers.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, collaborating with internal engineering and applications teams to deliver technical solutions to customers.
  • Manage and develop relationships with Manufacturers Reps and Channel Partners, driving alignment and accountability.
  • Provide accurate forecasting, territory plans, and business reviews to executive leadership.
  • Identify high-value opportunities, allocate resources effectively, and ensure successful program execution.
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and technical discussions.
  • Mentor and guide Regional Sales Managers in your territory, fostering career growth and performance.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 8+ years of semiconductor sales experience, with a proven track record of leading strategic account growth.
  • Deep understanding of wireless connectivity (BLE, Zigbee, Thread, Wi-Fi), SoCs, and RF solutions.
  • Experience managing Tier 1 and emerging accounts in the Eastern US market.
  • Previous experience working with Channel Partners, Distributors, and Manufacturers Representatives.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical discipline is preferred.
  • Must reside in the Northeast US region.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the territory and occasionally internationally.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, tactical approach to sales execution.
