Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the accounting department
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure accurate and timely closing of the general ledger
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations and reporting requirements
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback and training
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits, liaising with auditors to facilitate timely completion
  • Consolidate and integrate accounting activities across multiple US entities, ensuring consistent application of accounting principles and streamlined financial reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a CPA or CMA certification is preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP & CRM systems
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders
