Controller and Finance Manager

ML Talent Strategies is assisting one of our clients with finding their next Controller. This person will manage the financial operations of a small company from bookkeeping to forecasting analysis.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls
• Manage cash flow
• Manage all client invoicing and billing process
• Provide oversight to revenue and implement strategies for efficient financial management & growth
• Advise and recommend financial strategies to leadership
• Prepare budgets and forecasting for leadership
• Lead the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred or proven experience as a Controller or Finance or similar role
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
• Capable of strategic financial analysis as well as tactical processes
• Experience with accrual accounting and financial planning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
