Are you ready to build a high-impact HealthTech spin-off transforming ultrasound diagnostics through artificial intelligence?

ULISSES DS is a medical software that standardizes ultrasound images, enabling reproducible digital analysis and unlocking the full potential of AI in ultrasonography. The project has demonstrated strong diagnostic performance and is preparing for spin-off creation and regulatory advancement.

We are seeking an entrepreneurial CEO to lead company formation, regulatory strategy, commercialization, and fundraising.

About ULISSES DS

Ultrasound is widely used across all medical specialties because it is safe, affordable, and allows for real-time evaluation. However, its high technical variability has prevented reproducible digital image analysis and the development of robust AI models. This limitation leads to subjective interpretation, diagnostic uncertainty, and thousands of unnecessary invasive procedures each year.

ULISSES standardizes ultrasound images across scanners and acquisition settings, minimizing variability and enabling reproducible extraction of radiomic features, faster and more efficient AI model training and improved diagnostic performance, even with small datasets. The methodology is organ-agnostic, with initial applications in thyroid and breast imaging.

Your Role as CEO & Co-Founder (Next 6 Months)

You will lead ULISSES through a critical transition phase:

• Spin-off creation and shareholder structuring
• Definition of regulatory pathway (CE marking for medical software)
• Business model validation (B2B hospitals PACS integration)
• Early hospital pilots and commercial validation
• Fundraising strategy (public & private capital)
• Positioning within AI-driven medical imaging ecosystem

The Offer

• Relevant equity as CEO & Co-Founder upon company incorporation
• €6,000 stipend during validation phase (3 monthly instalments of €2,000)
• Opportunity to access a participative loan of up to €50,000
• Access to The Collider venture-building programme, including regulatory, AI and HealthTech mentors, IP and fundraising specialists, support in spin-off creation and shareholder agreement.
• International exposure (4YFN, MWC, corporate & investor networks)
• Coworking space in Barcelona (Tech Barcelona – Pier 01)
• Two years of post-incorporation venture-builder support, including in-kind services, community access and portfolio perks.

This Opportunity Is for You If

• You are an entrepreneur with experience in HealthTech, AI, medical imaging or digital health
• Previous founder/co-founder experience
• Familiar with medical device regulation and CE marking
• Experience in hospital sales cycles or B2B SaaS
• Comfortable bridging clinical validation, AI productization and commercialization
• Interested in scalable software platforms
• Eligible to work in Spain
• Fluent in English and Spanish
