Job Openings Entrepreneur in Residence FORESEE

About the job Entrepreneur in Residence FORESEE

Are you seeking a new entrepreneurial adventure that offers the opportunity to build a deep-tech startup in the Medical Devices sector?

FORESEE, beneficiary of the EIC Tech to Market Venture Building Programme and backed by The University Pompeu Fabra, is looking for an entrepreneurial profile with business acumen, startup experience, and solid knowledge in Medical Devices to join the team and complement the technical expertise of the current founders.

About the project

FORESEE is a novel intravascular microsensing platform that measures multiple parameters in a single device to obtain a complete patient profile, substantially improving the management of Heart Failure (HF) patients and their quality of life.

Remote monitoring of HF patients using implantable sensors allows the creation of a clinical profile for each patient to foresee complications, avoid worsening of their condition, and prevent their hospitalization. The more parameters that can be measured, the better and faster the pharmacological treatment to avoid this decompensation process. FORESEE uses novel wireless power transfer and communications technology that results in thinner intravascular devices compared to state-of-the-art microsensors. +info

Among the main achievements so far: Obtained more than 2.5 million in funding for the development of the microsensing technology in competitive public and private grants, a patent granted, and collaboration agreements with two different institutions.
