Toolmaker-1st Shift

Pay Range: $26-$30 per hour (based on experience) Shift: 1st Shift

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Toolmaker to join our team. This position is ideal for a hands-on machinist who thrives in a precision-driven environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing fixtures and small-run parts using manual machines, with opportunities to apply CNC experience as well.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate manual machines including Bridgeport mills and engine lathes to fabricate precision tools and components
• Manufacture fixtures and small-run parts for custom and production applications
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining operations
• Maintain tight tolerances and high-quality standards throughout the machining process
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and ensure a clean, organized workspace
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve tooling and production processes

Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating manual machines, especially Bridgeport mills and engine lathes
• CNC machining experience is a strong plus
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Must supply own tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Willingness to work on 1st shift
