Tig Welder

Position Overview:

1st Shift 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri

As a Tig Welder, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding on various metal components using the Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding process. You will work with a variety of metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel, to produce precise and flawless welds. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate TIG welding equipment to join metal components according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and diagrams to determine welding requirements
• Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and cutting as needed
• Monitor welding process to ensure quality and make necessary adjustments
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve any welding issues that may arise
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in TIG welding
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and welding equipment
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce precise and accurate welds
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Valid welding certification is a plus
• Pharmaceutical, process piping or food experience is preferred
