Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm with overtime and Saturdays as needed.

Position: Grinder

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Grinder to join our team on a full-time basis. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain grinding machines to grind metal parts to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine grinding requirements
• Inspect and measure workpieces to ensure they meet required specifications
• Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Adjust machine controls to control speed, feed rate, and depth of cut
• Select and mount grinding wheels on machines according to specifications
• Monitor machine operations to ensure smooth and efficient production
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the grinding process
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety guidelines and regulations
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
• Continuously improve grinding processes and techniques to increase efficiency and quality

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Grinder in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Experience grinding and polishing wells
• Strong knowledge of grinding techniques and procedures
• Forklift experience preferred but not required
