Shipping and Receiving Associate

Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

Experience: 2 years

Education: High School Diploma is preferred

Salary Range: $18 - $23.50/hr

Essential Job Functions:

Primary handler of incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and conditions of shipments.

Inspecting incoming materials for defect or damage and notifying appropriate staff of potential quality issues.

Movement of shipments to appropriate staging locations throughout the facility.

Provide final inspection to fit, form and function, to ensure all material is fit to ship.

Ensure all material is securely and appropriately packaged.

Ensure all documentation reflects the order/shipment exactly as intended.

Ensure the shipping & receiving area is clean and organized.

Other jobs as required.

Required Skills:

Warehouse/Manufacturing Plant experience

Forklift experience

Packing

Stocking

Math ability to work with mathematical concepts such as Algebra and Geometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations

Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Able to prioritize tasks, develops good work procedures, adapts to change, open to new ideas
