Job Summary
We are hiring a CNC Machine Operator to run Swiss (Citizen) and/or Eurotech multi-axis lathes in a precision machining environment. This role focuses on safe operation, quality parts, and meeting production goals. Hours during training will be 7am-3pm. After training hours move to 11am-7pm.
Responsibilities
- Operate Swiss CNC (Citizen) and/or Eurotech CNC machines
- Load and unload material and finished parts
- Monitor machines during production runs
- Perform in-process inspections (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Verify parts meet print and tolerance requirements
- Identify tool wear, machine issues, or quality concerns
- Complete production paperwork and job tracking
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
Requirements
- 3 years CNC machine operation experience
- Ability to read blueprints and tolerances
- Experience using precision measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have
- Basic tool changes and insert replacements
- Minor offset adjustments
- Swiss, Citizen, or Eurotech experience
- Job-shop or precision machining background
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Manual dexterity for small precision parts
