1. Overview
A Conductor at Monkey and River is a hybrid Business Analyst (BA) and Project
Management (PM) role, responsible for bridging business, technical, and operational
domains to enable high-quality solution delivery. The role ensures clear translation of
business needs into actionable deliverables, drives process optimisation, and facilitates
alignment across teams.
2. Objectives
Bridge the gap between business vision and technical execution by extracting and
translating business objectives into a clear delivery direction for development teams.
Set and drive solution direction priorities and sprint execution with business
objectives.
Lead stakeholder engagement by confidently driving conversations, asking the right
questions, challenging assumptions, and aligning diverse perspectives toward shared
outcomes.
Maintain end-to-end alignment and momentum from strategy through solution design
to development and delivery.
Navigate ambiguity in unstructured environments, providing clarity, structure, and
focus amid evolving priorities.
Enable pragmatic, outcome-driven delivery, balancing business needs with technical
and delivery constraints.
Continuously improve delivery effectiveness and cross-team collaboration.

domains
Strong foundation in Business Analysis across agile and hybrid delivery models

4. Core Responsibilities
4.1 Business Analysis
Lead discovery and requirements elicitation across business and technical
stakeholders
Translate business needs into clear, structured, and testable requirements
Maintain end-to-end requirement lifecycle management and traceability
Define and communicate scope, assumptions, dependencies, and constraints
Facilitate workshops, ideation sessions, and refinement ceremonies
Ensure solutions align with business objectives and expected outcomes
Ensure the correct stakeholders input is taken into account
4.2 Telecommunications Domain
Analyse telecom-specific business processes and workflows
Map telecom architectures and systems for solution feasibility
Translate technical concepts for business stakeholders and vice versa
Validate solutions against system constraints, regulatory, and compliance
requirements
4.3 Delivery & Project Support
Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and delivery sequencing
Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks; propose mitigations
Ensure alignment between product roadmaps, architecture, and implementation
strategies
Promote cross-team collaboration and communication
