Residence Butler

The Residence Butlers main tasks include to prepare and clear all service venues, including all necessary mise-end-place for service as well as serving food and beverages to his/her allocated guests in a professional, efficient, and courteous manner.

KEY FOCUS AREAS

Greeting guests in a professional manner upon their arrival and acquainting guests with the residence amenities.Be able to interact with Guests in a professional manner.

• Perform consistent service according to the residence service standards and be fully prepared for each booking.
• Curate the guest experience according to the guest profile.
• Anticipating guests needs and solving their concerns throughout their stay, meeting their demands, and exceeding their expectations.
• Providing directions and information about local points of interest and assist with reservations.
• Ensuring rooms, common areas, gardens, pools meet guest standards.
• Coordinating the maintenance of the residence and the preservation of the interiors.
• Assisting with the planning of events.
• Overseeing the smooth running of hosted events, parties, and dinners.
• Performing all duties and obligations with professionalism.
• Be aware of all dietary requirements of the guests and ensure that the residence is prepared accordingly.
• Perform residence preparation according to the guest request.
• Support optimal communication between the relevant departments and the team, attending meetings.
• Prepare all food and beverage requirements for the guests stay, including special requests.

REQUIREMENTS QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Grade 12 and a qualification in Butler duties will be an added advantage.
• Valid code 10 drivers license .
• At least 2 years experience in a similar position in the 5-star environment
• Sound knowledge and experience with Bar duties
• Knowledge and experience of overall hospitality operations mainly Food and Beverages.
• Reasonable wine knowledge
• Confident team Player with positive attitude, enthusiasm, and emotional control (People skills-tolerance, patience, and
• care.)
• Presentable and well spoken
