About the job Spa Therapist

To deliver a variety of spa services in a safe and comfortable manner. Maintaining equipment and sample inventory of products. To acknowledge and respond to relevant queries, needs and expectations.

KEY FOCUS AREAS

  • Ensure that the TheraVine & TheraNaka and MORE Spa philosophy is followed in all daily tasks as trained.
  • Ensure that all treatments and product sales are being performed according to the standard trained and in a professional and effective manner, following the highest standards of hygiene.
  • Provide consultations, skin analysis, skin care treatments and bodywork, including massage, to clients.
  • Assist in evaluating beauty therapy processes and products.
  • Assist in receiving bookings, arranging appointments, and maintaining client records.
  • Provide advice on the purchase of cosmetic products.
  • Follow the Spa stock control procedures as directed.
  • Ensure that guests utilizing the Spa services are billed correctly and timeously, following the administrative procedures as directed.
  • Attend regular morning meetings.
  • Attend regular meetings with Management to discuss strategies to reach targets, upselling, and sales.
  • Meet and entertain guests in the guest areas and during mealtimes whenever possible, promoting the Spa Services on offer.
  • Maintain all issued equipment (such as massage beds) as directed and report any faults and defects to Management immediately.
  • To produce a consistent, high-quality product, providing a courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service.
  • Sound Knowledge of the applicable / relevant and company procedures for the department, with specific focus on TheraVine & TheraNaka and Hygiene procedures
  • Previous Hospitality Spa experience advantageous
  • Experience with the highest level of customer service in a luxury environment.
  • Knowledge on the operation of in-room equipment and appliances
  • Knowledge of all MORE properties and all activities offered.
  • Knowledge of all departments/operations of your property
  • Excellent time management and self-discipline, interpersonal & problem-solving skills.

REQUIREMENTS QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Spa qualification is required.
  • Experience in the similar role / industry is required.
  • Excellent attention to detail, excellent hygiene principles.
  • Guest focus philosophy, living the MORE brand and driving the MORE experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), practicing honest communication.
  • Team player with positive attitude, enthusiasm, and emotional control.
  • Excellent time management and self-discipline, interpersonal & problem-solving skills.
