Job Description:
We are seeking a Production Artist / Vector File Designer to support product development by transforming approved flat artwork into production-ready vector files and technical packaging assets.
This role is not focused on original creative design. The primary responsibility is execution, taking finalized artwork and converting it into accurate, layered files ready for production, packaging, and technical documentation.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, efficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, and understands how to build files for manufacturing accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Artwork Conversion
Convert approved concept renderings into layered production files
Build production-ready Illustrator files for manufacturing use
Ensure all artwork elements are accurately structured and layered
Packaging & Label File Preparation
Prepare packaging layouts and label-ready production files
Ensure correct formatting and technical file requirements are met
Organize and finalize files for internal and vendor use
Technical File Development
Assist in building technical production files and supporting documents
Translate internal design instructions into executable production files
Support product development workflows through accurate asset preparation
File Management & Workflow Support
Maintain organized file systems and version control
Execute revisions quickly and accurately
Support the internal design team by reducing production workload
Qualifications:
Required
Strong Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign proficiency
Experience working with both vector and raster files for production or manufacturing
Strong understanding of layers, paths, and file preparation
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to follow instructions and execute efficiently
Preferred
Experience in packaging, print production, or product manufacturing
Experience building tech packs or production documentation
Familiarity with product development workflows
Experience working with consumer goods or product-based businesses
