Job Description

We are seeking a Paid Social Video Editor to support high-volume creative production for paid media campaigns.

This role will focus on transforming raw content from actors, models, and UGC creators into high-performing paid social ads. You will work closely with creative strategists who provide concepts, scripts, and direction, and your role will be to execute compelling ad creatives optimized for performance.

The ideal candidate understands paid media fundamentals, direct-response structure, and the nuances of performance marketing editing. While strategic thinking is a plus, this is primarily an execution-focused role with strong performance awareness. The role also includes adapting existing ads for different markets and ensuring all creatives remain aligned with brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Ad Creative Execution

  • Edit raw video clips into performance-ready paid social ads

  • Follow creative briefs and scripts provided by strategists

  • Structure ads with strong hooks, pacing, captions, and retention-focused editing

  • Adapt content for multiple formats and aspect ratios

  • Translate existing English ads into French and German versions using provided copy and assets

  • Ensure all creatives remain consistent with brand guidelines and visual identity


Performance Awareness

  • Translate best-performing creatives into new variations

  • Use AI-generated scripts and breakdowns to execute structured ad concepts

  • Analyze recent ad performance to create improved versions and new variations

  • Contribute fresh ideas for new creatives based on what has worked in prior campaigns


Production Scaling

  • Support scaling efforts by increasing output volume

  • Produce high-volume creative output, with a target of 50+ ads per week (20–30 second videos)

  • Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously

  • Maintain organized file structures and workflows


Qualifications

Required:

  • 2+ years experience editing paid social ads

  • Strong proficiency in CapCut

  • Understanding of performance marketing principles

  • Ability to edit quickly without sacrificing quality

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to follow brand guidelines consistently


Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with DTC brands

  • Experience with refillable, beauty, or personal care brands

  • Familiarity with AI-assisted script or concept execution

  • Understanding of Meta and TikTok ad structures
