Job Title: Email and Social Media Marketing Coordinator

Job Description:

Were looking for a creative and communicative marketing coordinator to manage our email campaigns and social media presence. This part-time role is ideal for someone who loves engaging with audiences, has a keen eye for compelling content, and enjoys the day-to-day rhythm of digital marketing.

Youll be responsible for keeping our community informed and engaged through regular email newsletters and active social media management. This position requires someone who can maintain brand voice across channels, spot opportunities for engagement, and ensure our content reaches the right people at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:
Email Marketing

  • Customize and populate email newsletters using existing templates

  • Schedule and deploy email campaigns to subscriber lists

  • Ensure all links, images, and copy are accurate before sending

  • Monitor basic performance metrics and flag notable trends

Social Media Management

  • Schedule and publish organic content on Facebook and Instagram based on newly created materials

  • Adapt content appropriately for each platform while maintaining brand consistency

  • Write engaging captions and select relevant hashtags

  • Monitor posting schedule and ensure consistent presence

Community Management

  • Monitor and moderate comments on owned and operated Facebook and Instagram pages

  • Respond to questions, acknowledge feedback, and engage with followers in a timely manner

  • Escalate sensitive issues or complex inquiries to appropriate team members

  • Foster positive community interactions and maintain brand reputation


Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in email marketing and social media management

  • Proficiency with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar)

  • Strong working knowledge of Facebook and Instagram (both personal and business use)

  • Excellent writing skills with ability to adapt tone for different audiences

  • Strong attention to detail and proofreading abilities

  • Comfortable working with content calendars and scheduling tools

  • Basic understanding of social media best practices and engagement strategies
