Work Shift: 9-5 Eastern Time
Working Hours: Full-time (40 hrs/week)

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Video Editor with strong experience creating high-performing Meta (Facebook & Instagram) ads for direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands in the United States.

This is a hands-on role at the intersection of creative production and performance advertising. Your primary focus will be producing and refining compelling short-form video creatives optimized for paid social campaigns that drive measurable results.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record editing video ads for reputable U.S. DTC brands, understands how storytelling and pacing influence performance, and can work efficiently to produce multiple ad variations that maintain visual impact and brand alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and produce high-quality paid social video ads for Meta platforms, focused on conversion and engagement

  • Turn raw footage, product shots, testimonials, and brand assets into polished ad creatives

  • Craft narrative flow and hooks that capture attention in the first 3 seconds

  • Build multiple creative variations and cutdowns for A/B testing

  • Add motion graphics, captions, overlays, effects, and visual polish where appropriate

  • Ensure videos meet platform specifications such as aspect ratios, lengths, and codecs

  • Collaborate with marketers and strategists to align on campaign goals and creative briefs

  • Review ad performance data and iterate on creative to improve results

  • Maintain organized project files and deliverables for ongoing campaigns


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience editing video ads specifically for Meta paid social campaigns

  • Proven history working with reputable DTC brands in the U.S.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating performance-driven ads for e-commerce or DTC brands

  • Deep understanding of pacing, storytelling, hooks, and visual flow for short-form ads

  • Proficient with video editing tools, with Adobe Premiere Pro required and After Effects a plus

  • Comfortable producing multiple edits and creative variations quickly and efficiently

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken


Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of performance marketing principles and metrics such as CTR, CPM, CPC, and ROAS

  • Experience with TikTok ad formats and trends

  • Familiarity with creative testing workflows and analytics tools

  • Basic motion graphics or animation capability

  • Experience working in a fast-paced agency or in-house creative team
