Job Description:

We are seeking a Paid Social Video Editor to support high-volume, performance-driven video ad production for a fast-growing DTC subscription e-commerce brand in the pet food space. This role is focused on producing and iterating paid social video creatives—primarily for Meta—within sprint-based workflows to support new customer acquisition and creative scaling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-volume paid social video ads optimized for Meta platforms

  • Execute creative briefs, concepts, and asset guidelines with speed and precision

  • Support sprint-based production cycles with rapid creative iterations

  • Create multiple video variations (hooks, pacing, captions, formats) for structured testing

  • Apply hook-driven editing (first 1–3 seconds) to maximize retention and scroll-stopping impact

  • Optimize videos for retention, engagement, and conversion performance

  • Implement feedback accurately and efficiently from the in-house video editor and creative team

  • Ensure proper captioning and sound-off optimization

  • Maintain compliance with aspect ratios and safe-zone requirements (9:16, 1:1, 4:5)

  • Maintain consistent quality while scaling creative output

  • Organize assets using clear file naming, version control, and folder structure

  • Collaborate closely with internal creative stakeholders to meet production targets and deadlines

  • Hook-driven editing (first 1–3 seconds)

  • Retention- and conversion-focused editing

  • Creative iteration and variant testing

  • Captioning and sound-off optimization

  • Aspect ratio and safe-zone compliance (9:16, 1:1, 4:5)

  • Working from detailed creative briefs and asset guidelines

  • Feedback implementation and rapid iteration

  • Asset organization, file naming, and version control

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience editing paid social video content, with a strong focus on Meta platforms

  • Background in DTC, subscription e-commerce, or performance marketing preferred

  • Strong understanding of short-form video best practices for paid social advertising

  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects for performance-driven video editing

  • Experience using Veed.io and/or CapCut for rapid iteration and creative testing workflows

  • Familiarity with Meta Ads creative specifications, formats, and delivery requirements

  • Comfortable managing assets and collaboration through Google Drive

  • Able to work efficiently in fast-paced, sprint-based production environments

  • High-output mindset with the ability to iterate quickly without sacrificing quality

  • Detail-oriented and precise in following briefs, assets, and feedback

Experience in the pet or food vertical is a plus but not required
