Rate: $8 to $12/hr (Open to $14/hr for exceptional)
Job Description:
We are seeking a Paid Social Video Editor to support high-volume, performance-driven video ad production for a fast-growing DTC subscription e-commerce brand in the pet food space. This role is focused on producing and iterating paid social video creatives—primarily for Meta—within sprint-based workflows to support new customer acquisition and creative scaling.

We are scaling our output from 200 to 500+ ads per month (aiming for 1,000 in Q2). You will work directly with our Creative Strategists to execute high-performing concepts using speed-focused tools like Veed.io.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce high-volume paid social video ads (50-100 variations per sprint) optimized for Meta platforms.
Execute creative briefs and remix existing footage (UGC, shoots) into multiple concepts.
Prioritize Speed & Volume: Utilize Veed.io (preferred) for rapid iteration and cloud-based collaboration.
Create multiple video variations (hooks, pacing, text overlays) for structured testing.
Apply hook-driven editing (first 1-3 seconds) to maximize retention and scroll-stopping impact.
Implement feedback accurately and efficiently to minimize iteration loops ("One-shot" efficiency).
Collaborate directly with Creative Strategists (Juliet & Madison) to suggest new hook ideas and visual angles.
Maintain compliance with aspect ratios and safe-zone requirements (9:16, 1:1, 4:5).
Organize assets using clear file naming and version control in our cloud library.
Formats & Skills:
Short-form paid social video editing (Meta-first—Organic/Vlog style is not sufficient).
Proficiency in Veed.io (Cloud/AI editing) for speed.
Hook-driven editing (first 1-3 seconds).
Retention- and conversion-focused editing.
Creative iteration and variant testing.
Captioning and sound-off optimization.
Aspect ratio and safe-zone compliance (9:16, 1:1, 4:5).
Feedback implementation and rapid iteration.
Asset organization, file naming, and version control
Qualifications:
Non-Negotiable: Proven experience editing Paid Social Video Ads (Direct Response), with a strong focus on Meta platforms.
Background in DTC, subscription e-commerce, or performance marketing preferred
Note: Experience limited to organic social content or YouTube vlogs is not a fit for this role.
Experience using Veed.io is highly preferred for our rapid iteration workflow (alongside Adobe Premiere Pro/After Effects for complex tasks).
High-output mindset: Comfortable shipping 20+ variations of a concept in a sprint without sacrificing quality.
Understanding of "Cat Behavior" or pet ownership is a strong plus (helps in selecting the right footage).
Comfortable working in a remote, trust-based environment without micromanagement.
Detail-oriented and precise in following briefs, assets, and feedback.
Able to overlap with London working hours for collaboration.
