Working Hours: Full-time; 40 hours per week
Job Description:
We are seeking a thoughtful, adaptable, and highly organized self-starter to support our Sales Manager across day-to-day sales, customer service, and administrative operations.
This role is central to delivering a seamless and responsive customer experience across all touchpoints. You will manage inbound inquiries, maintain consistent follow-ups, and provide accurate product and order information to both new and existing clients. Through structured, detail-oriented execution, you will help strengthen client relationships while supporting the studio’s continued growth.
Our company operates across design trade, direct-to-consumer clients, and a curated network of retail partners. As such, this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and an appreciation for design, interiors, and architecture. While this is not a design role, you will work closely with the team and contribute to an overall customer experience shaped by design thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support
Manage inbound customer inquiries via email
Enter and route leads within the CRM system
Provide preliminary product, pricing, and technical information to customers
Follow up consistently with customers on pending quotes and orders
Conduct post-shipment follow-ups to ensure satisfaction
Create estimates and invoices
Coordinate with production teams and suppliers to resolve customer queries
Support lead generation and conversion efforts
Execute internal outreach processes and follow-up workflows
Customer Service
Manage shared sales and customer service inboxes
Respond to customer inquiries accurately and in a timely manner
Provide status updates to existing clients
Process orders, forms, applications, and requests
Acknowledge and resolve customer concerns or complaints
Maintain a high standard of customer communication and professionalism
Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and internal workflows
Operations & Administrative Support
Obtain shipping quotes and coordinate shipment pickups and deliveries
Maintain and clean CRM data to ensure accuracy
Support sales reporting and customer data tracking
Assist with executive reminders, follow-ups, and internal coordination
Record meeting notes and track action items
Design Support (Nice to Have)
Assist with basic design-related tasks such as drawings, modeling, or product configuration
Support development of visual materials to help clients understand products
Additional Responsibilities
Support occasional special projects as needed
Qualifications:
Required
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Experience in sales support, customer service, operations, or administrative roles
Strong proficiency in Google Docs and Google Sheets
Familiarity with CRM systems and customer data management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong time management and ability to prioritize tasks
High attention to detail and organizational skills
Problem-solving ability with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Knowledge of interior design, home decor, or basic construction principles
Experience working with design, architecture, or product-based businesses
Basic CAD modeling experience (SketchUp, AutoCAD)
