Job Description:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Paid Social Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing, social media content creation, and graphic design, with proven experience producing engaging short-form and long-form content for brands, agencies, and digital platforms. This role requires a mix of technical editing skills, creative storytelling, and the ability to adapt content for multiple social media channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce high-quality short-form and long-form videos for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Create UGC-style ads, promotional videos, content reels, and podcasts tailored to paid social campaigns.
- Work with creative briefs to conceptualize, edit, and deliver ad-ready content that drives engagement and conversions.
- Optimize video content for multiple platforms while ensuring brand consistency across all outputs.
- Add finishing touches including color correction, sound design, typography, and branding elements.
- Collaborate with clients, marketing teams, and creative directors to align videos with campaign goals.
- Be able to come up with new ideas and hooks for ad briefs, and determine ways to make existing videos work better for paid social by combining clips or by using ai.
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends, editing styles, and platform-specific requirements, including ai tools for video production.
- Support content creation with basic graphic design and landing page visuals when needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor with a portfolio of work across paid social, UGC, and branded content.
- Proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Davinci, Canva, and Figma
- Strong understanding of storytelling, branding, typography, and layout design.
- Ability to edit across various formats including content reels, educational videos, podcasts, advertisements, vlogs, and music videos.
- Experience managing social media content and analytics reporting is a plus.
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work closely with clients and teams.
