Job Description:
The Ecommerce Assistant will play a hands-on role in managing product content, merchandising the site, and supporting our marketing campaigns. This is an opportunity to work across all aspects of ecommercefrom product uploads and homepage updates to email marketing and reportingwhile collaborating with creative, retail, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Product & Content Management
- Upload and enrich products in Shopify, ensuring accurate descriptions, images, pricing, and inventory.
Merchandise homepage, collection pages, and promotional landing pages.
- Maintain and update site content including banners, navigation, size guides, and sale pages.
Campaign & Marketing Support
Support the setup and execution of email marketing campaigns in Klaviyo.
Coordinate with creative teams for digital assets, product photography, and campaign imagery.
Assist in managing promotional campaigns across Meta and Google Ads, ensuring accurate landing page links and content alignment.
Upload new creative assets into Meta Ads platform, following correct naming conventions and linking to the appropriate products.
Note: This role will not involve activating or running paid ads but will ensure proper setup and organisation of new ad creative.
Site Performance & Analysis
Monitor and report on site performance metrics (conversion rate, traffic sources, product performance).
Collaborate with the Ecommerce & Digital Marketing Manager on optimisations and A/B testing.
Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for site updates and new features.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with retail, buying, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate online stock and product information.
- Liaise with customer service to resolve product-related queries and improve content based on feedback.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience in ecommerce, preferably in apparel, fashion, or retail.
Proficiency in Shopify and Klaviyo is essential.
Experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads platforms.
Experience with Cin7 (inventory/POS) is highly regarded.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
