Job Profile
We are seeking a dynamic and technically competent Sales Engineer – Lifts & Escalators to drive the promotion and sale of our vertical transportation solutions. The role combines technical expertise, commercial acumen, and client relationship management to deliver value-driven solutions to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify and pursue new project opportunities
Build relationships with developers, consultants, and contractors
Maintain a strong sales pipeline
Technical Sales
Understand client requirements and propose suitable solutions
Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents
Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals
Tendering & Negotiation
Manage enquiries from initial contact to contract award
Participate in technical and commercial negotiations
Achieve sales targets and margin objectives
Project Coordination
Ensure smooth handover to engineering and installation teams
Follow up on project progress and maintain client communication
Reporting
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and activity reports
Requirements
Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
5–6 years of work experience; preference will be given to candidates possessing technical sales skills (lifts, escalators, or building services preferred)
Strong technical and commercial understanding
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation & drawings
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Self-motivated and target-driven
