Cybersecurity Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain our security infrastructure, protecting critical systems and data. You will work closely with IT, operations, and risk teams to identify vulnerabilities, assess threats, and implement robust security controls aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) using industry-standard tools and methodologies.

• Design, run, and improve phishing campaigns, analyzing effectiveness and engagement.

• Conduct live hacking demonstrations or awareness training for internal teams.

• Develop and implement security policies, incident response plans, and awareness materials.

• Perform incident response and handle past cybersecurity incidents effectively.

• Assess networks with limited information and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Document security assessments, pentest reports, and recommendations tailored for executives and technical teams.

• Present cybersecurity findings and reports during assessments.

• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and defense strategies.

• Handle zero-day vulnerabilities and provide actionable remediation plans.

• Use tools such as Nessus, Kali Linux, Burp Suite, Zenmap, and custom exploits to secure systems.

• Prepare reports and presentations using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or BSc in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related IT field.

• Solid knowledge of ISO 27001 and NIST frameworks.

• Hands-on experience in VAPT, security architecture design, and system hardening.
